Known for with the name of Bharatpur National Park, Keoladeo National Park is famous for bird watching and is listed among UNESCO's World Heritage sites. The medley of dry grasslands, woodlands, woodland swamps, and wetlands sprawling here makes it an ideal place for the world of wild. One can spot over 366 bird species here apart from 379 floral species, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, etc. Both resident birds and migratory birds can be spotted here by taking a rickshaw or cycle ride. Do not miss a chance to click some wonderful pictures of birds. For history seekers, Bharatpur Palace remains a must visit attraction showcasing a perfect blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture. The palace has been crafted with exquisite intricate designs. There is also a museum in the central wing where one can explore a rich collection of stunning sculptures, ancient inscriptions, etc. Also, explore the Lohagarh Fort which has survived many battles in the past. It was raised by the Bharatpur Jat rulers in the 1730's. The fort has simple carvings and paintings and houses three palaces which include Mahal Khas, Kamra Palace and the Palace of Badan Singh.
